If you do not know her already, please allow me to introduce you to Flora Backer: one of the most successful lingerie designers and pioneer in the industry. Flora is the founder of iconic line, Flora Nikrooz (est. 1983) which quickly became a recognized brand across the world. After a few years away from Flora Nikrooz, Flora couldn’t deny her passion and so she took her incredible, undying, talent to create her latest line: Rya Collection.

Rya Collection first introduced itself as a luxury bridal line including robes and chemises made from gorgeous fabrics unlike anything you have seen. Since, she has taken classic designs and transformed them into romantic, delicate and versatile cover ups, pajamas, teddies & rompers and gowns.

This line is luxury through and through but what I love most about this collection is that you can take the pieces beyond the bedroom. Robes can be easily worn over a pair of jeans and high boots or even as a cover up to the beach (resort, pool, spa, whatever strikes your fancy); bralettes with incredible floral detail are perfect for spring/summer outfits and I can see this taking on that Coachella fashion we all seek each spring – see “Woodstock gown” &  La Fleur Bralette & Short Set” . But, with all that said, Flora’s designs are first made to wear inside the bedroom as they elude sexiness and passion without compromising style. I am truly fortunate to own the Woodstock Robe and can say, from experience, that this is a “stop people in the streets” , a one of a kind, piece.

Let’s bring it back to the core of this brand: bridal. Flora’s pieces are perfect for the future bride and her bridal party. If you are looking for something to wear on the night before your wedding, wedding night, honeymoon, or all of the above(!) do not give a second thought: Rya Collection is the answer. I can confidentially say this as my own sister (see how beautiful she is in my gallery!) was simply stunning in “Exposed Kimono Cover-Up”.

I hope after reading this you will be looking to purchase your first piece. You can purchase on their website or support your local specialty boutiques and experience each garment. Please put Rya Collection on your radar because if you like what you see now then trust me, you cannot imagine what Flora has in store for us next. I had the privilege to view her upcoming collection and Flora has let me share some sneak previews with all of you but cannot wait to show you more when it hits stores with the Fall/Winter Collections, so stay tuned!

PS: Rya Collection was inspired by Flora’s daughter, Rya – how sweet is that!?
